The type of personal information we collect 

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details).

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Contact form: any query or email going through the website contact form collects an email address of the individual and (not mandatory) the name of said individual. 

  • Contact form - message field: all the information an individual writes in the contact form message field is only accessed by GLOWUX and not shared with any 3rd party. We do not REQUIRE nor REQUEST any personal information on this field. 

 

We use the information that you have given us in order to contact and answer your query. The information you have sent through the contact form will not be used for any other purpose. We won’t share this information with 3rd parties.

 

Additionally, GLOWUX makes use of web analytics software, by accepting the privacy policy, your website visit data will get shared with Google Analytics to monitor the website performance. That is why we make use of cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser. They are typically used to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken on a site. 

 

No Personal Information is ever shared with Google Analytics by GLOWUX. 

PII entered in search boxes and form fields will be removed before it is sent to Analytics.

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this at any time by contacting elisa.glowux@gmail.com

 

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored. 

We keep your email address and name for 1 month. We will then dispose your information by erasing it permanently from the Wix Email Database as well as the Google GLOWUX email account. 

 

Your data protection rights

 

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

  • Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

 

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
